Four vintage photographs of the serie « VEPRES LAQUEES » (1979-1980) of Michel Saloff Coste, kept in the Museum Georges Pompidou in Paris, were selected by the Ministry of Culture to be part of the exhibition « Plaisir de France » in Baku.

As part of the privileged culturel exchanges between France and Kazakhstan et l'Azerbaïdjan, Mr. Frédéric Mitterand, French Minister of Culture and Communication, wished to organize a prestigious exhibition titeled « PLAISIR DE FRANCE » in order to showcase the fantastic héritage and opulence of french création. A choice of about 300 museum kept works were put together in order to illustrate the french genius. A part of this exibition is dedicated to the photography.
