SCENARIO is the special-interest magazine of the year

Wednesday night, February 18th 2015, Magazine Designers In Denmark (MDID) named the international SCENARIO Magazine as the year’s best special-interest magazine in Denmark.

The jury justified the prize on the grounds that SCENARIO is a “beautiful, cool and distinctive magazine” with “text-heavy content laid out in an elegant and attractive way.”
The magazine also won the prize for cover of the year with a photo by photographer Ulrik Jantzen as well as the prize for “best regular pages” for a technology brief edited by SCENARIO’s regular science editor Klaus Æ. Mogensen.

With this, SCENARIO won in all three categories it had been longlisted and later shortlisted for.
About the prize as the year’s best special-interest magazine, editor-in-chief Morten Grønborg says:
“The magazine has a publisher that values giving editorial and artistic freedom, and since its founding in 2010 have trusted the magazine’s concept and idea about delivering independent knowledge about the future to an international target group. Along with having a strong editorial and creative team, this is the secret of our results”.
SCENARIO’s Art Director is Sara Frostig Steenstrup.

SCENARIO Magazine is published by the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies, which is an independent non-profit organization.
